Regenerative Agriculture

Regenerative Farming

It all starts with the soil, and by farming for soil, we transform food while healing the planet – but we don’t just support the concept of regenerative agriculture; we live it. Impacting the lives of many across five continents in eight countries, from the U.S. to India, we support the success of Biodynamic® farms and pay farmers a premium price for their harvests.

Every Biodynamic® product purchased is supporting the farmer who is not polluting, who is a good custodian of the earth and humanity

-Kiss the Ground
The rich, nutritious foods harvested from these farmers make up Solspring®, an authentic food brand that offers unique Demeter Certified Biodynamic® and organic foods – like olive Oil from 100-year-old trees found in the Kalamata region of Greece, vinegars and tomato sauces sourced from 40-year-old farms in the Modena region of Italy, and more – all in a variety of fresh, full-bodied flavors. We also initiated the first-ever standards for Demeter Certified Biodynamic® supplements and carry more biodynamic products in more categories than any other single brand in the U.S.
But this isn’t competition. This is an important change in an industry we literally cannot live without. It’s collaboration, working together to bring life back to the soil for a more sustainable future.

What is Biodynamic®?

The world’s oldest ecological certification, Demeter Certified Biodynamic® elevates the organic standards on regenerative agriculture. It views the farm as a living organism that’s self-contained, self-sustaining and follows the cycles of nature to create a diverse and balanced ecosystem. This promotes the overall health of the crops and livestock while returning life back to the soil for exceptional ingredients the way nature intended.

Doing Our Part

Our values lie in the authenticity of food production and creating access to these food sources by supporting farmers worldwide in building healthier farmlands. By focusing on restoring soil, farmers can optimize their outcomes and overall crop health, naturally driving progress toward a more regenerative future in biodynamics.
To amplify these efforts, along with food safety and transparency, we partner with like-minded organizations, like GrassrootsHealth and Organic Consumers Association (OCA) – who we pioneered the GMO-labeling movement with, providing funding to add Proposition 37 (required the labeling of GMO food) to the ballot during the 2012 California statewide election.

Richer Soil.
Richer Soil. Increasing the carbon content of soil creates a richer, more nutrient-dense top soil.
Better Food.
The quality of food is dependent on the health of the soil in which it is grown.
Stronger Planet.
Drawing carbon from the atmosphere and storing it into the ground improves climate.

Fighting for a Regenerative Future

Leaders in the natural health industry with a legacy rooted in sustainability, we are among the original supporters of regenerative agriculture – the holistic approach to farming that shifts the paradigm to partner with nature instead of compete with it.

Our passionate dedication to environmental diversity and transparent food production started more than a decade ago to help rebuild healthy, rich soil that transforms food while healing the planet.
